Zusammenfassung

Es wird über einen weiteren Fall mit traumatischer arteriovenöser Fistel der Meningealgefäße berichtet, der durch ein epidurales Hämatom kompliziert wurde. Die Entstehungsmechanismen, die für die Bildung derartiger Veränderungen verantwortlich sind und die operativen Konsequenzen werden diskutiert.

Summary

A case of traumatic arteriovenous fistula following rupture of the middle meningeal artery and epidural haematoma formation is reported. The underlying mechanisms responsible for this and the surgical consequences are discussed.
