Summary

A patient with chronic myeloid leukemia is reported in which a reciprocal translocation between the long arms of two G chromosomes is the most likely explanation for the origin of the Philadelphia chromosome.

Es wird von einem Patienten mit chronischer myeloischer Leukämie berichtet, bei dem eine reziproke Translocation zwischen den langen Ästen zweier G-Chromosomen beobachtet wurde. Hierin ist wahrscheinlich die Erklärung für den Ursprung des Philadelphia-Chromosoms zu finden.
