Abstract
The magnetic hyperfine field for zinc in nickel has been measured by means of time-differential observation of perturbed angular distribution ofγ-rays following the nuclear reaction64Ni(α,n)67mZn. Its temperature dependence follows that of the magnetization of nickel within 2%. The value ofH hf(0)=−29.6 (3) kG was extrapolated from the measurements.
