Serologische Klärung der Herkunft der überzähligen X-Chromosomen beim XXXXY-Syndrom

Zusammenfassung

Bei einem Buben mit dem XXXXY-Syndrom konnte durch Bestimmung der Xga-Blutgruppeneigenschaft die Herkunft der überzähligen X-Chromosomen bestimmt werden: Der Vater ist Xg (a+), die Mutter ist Xg (a-) und der Bub ist ebenfalls Xg (a-). Das bedeutet, daß der Bub alle X-Chromosomen von der Mutter erhalten haben muß. Die verschiedenen Modellvorstellungen für die Entstehung dieser Überzahl der X-Chromosomen in der Zygote werden diskutiert.

Summary

In a boy with the XXXXY-syndrome it was possible to determine the origin of the excess X-chromosomes by determining the Xga blood group characteristic: The father is Xg (a-), the mother is Xg (a-) and the boy is also Xg (a-). This means that the boy must have received all X-chromosomes from the mother. The various model concepts for the development of this excess number of X-chromosomes in the zygote are discussed.
