Conclusions
-
1.
The method of calculating flow on an overflow dam based on numerical solution of boundary-layer equations is presently preferable in comparison with the published methods based on integral relations of the boundary layer.
-
2.
To determine the value of the velocity coefficient φ in any section on the spillway, it is recommended to use the graph obtained on the basis of the proposed method.
