Zusammenfassung

In einen knöchernen Schädel wurde ein in den wesentlichen Abschnitts- und Raumbeziehungen möglichst naturgetreues Modell des Vertebralis-Basialis-Systems eingebaut und an diesem Modell die Projektionsabhängigkeit des Vertebralisangiogramms studiert. Die Längenverhältnisse der einzelnen Gefäßabschnitte, die von den Gefäßen gebildeten Winkel und die Verlaufsform der Gefäße ändern sich projektionsabhängig in gesetzmäßiger Form.

Summary

A model of the vertebro-basilar system was constructed to be as accurate as possible in respect of the main segments and the spatial relationship of the vessels. Placed in a bony skull, this model was used to study the effect of different projections during vertebral angiography. The apparent length of individual segments of vessels, the angles of the vessels, the course of the vessels all vary systematically according to the projection.
