Conclusions

Dolomite from Kara-Baursk sources is a high-grade raw material suitable for obtaining metallurgical dolomite. For the production of metallurgical dolomite it is possible to recommend the granular method of calcination with an addition of iron slag or without the addition.

So as to use the fraction finer than 5 mm, obtained during screening of the 5–18 mm fraction, it is possible to recommend fine grinding of the dolomite by the wet method followed by calcination of the sludge.
