Wirkt Heparin ACTH-ähnlich auf die Nebennierenrinde?

Zusammenfassung

Heparin in hohen Dosen über 6 Tage verändert weder die Größe noch die histologische Struktur der Nebennierenrinde der intakten Ratte. Bei der hypophysektomierten Ratte läßt sich die Nebennierenrindenatrophie durch Heparin nicht rückgängig machen, wie es für ACTH typisch ist. Eine ACTH-ähnliche Wirkung des Heparin ist damit in der von uns gewählten Versuchsanordnung nicht nachzuweisen.

Summary

Heparin in large doses for 6 days does not change the size nor the histological structure of the adrenal cortex of the normal rat. In the hypophysectomized rat the atrophy of the adrenal cortex does not go back to the original state with heparin treatment as is typical with ACTH. Consequently, an effect of heparin similar to that of ACTH cannot be proved in the experiments, which we have carried out.
