Summary

We present some analytical perturbation results from which the skin-friction is accurately predicted over the range 1/2<β<∞, where β is the usual Falkner-Skan parameter. The first eigenvalue for various β in the range 2<β<∞ is also calculated numerically and certain properties noted. We find, analytically, the whole set of eignesolutions for the case when β is large.
