At the time of this study, Dr. Vispo was Deputy Clinical Director and Dr. Shine was Chief of Psychology Services at Central New York Psychiatric Center. The third researcher besides the authors was David Snyder, Central New York Psychiatric Center Director of Quality Assurance. He died at the early age of 38 in February of 1984.
