Conclusions
The total acetate of β-D-mannopyranosyl-2-3H-(1 → 4)-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1 ρ 3)-D-galactopyranose] has been synthesized by introducing the radioactive label into the mannose residue during NaBH4-3H reduction of 4-0-(3,4,6-tri-O-benzyl-β-D-arabinohexylosopyranosyl)-2,3-O-isopropylidene-α-benzyl-L-rhamnoside.
