6. On the mechanism of addition of chlorine fluorosulfate to olefins

Conclusions

A study of the low-temperature addition of chlorine fluorosulfate to olefins in the presence of perfluorocarboxylic acids has yielded support for the electrophilic mechanism for this reaction.
