Conclusions
-
1.
Laminar compounds of graphite with Co, Ru, Fe, Os, Mn, Cr, Ni, Cu, Pt, and Pd, treated with potassium, catalyze the synthesis of hydrocarbons from carbon monoxide and hydrogen.
-
2.
As the potassium: transition-metal ratio increases, there is an increase in the catalytic activity of laminar compound of graphite with Co, Mn, and Fe.
