Soviet Physics Journal Aims and scope

Abstract

The solution of the Einstein-Maxwell equations written for an axially symmetric static interval describing a space-time whose source of curvature has the asymptote of a magnetic dipole is sought by the method of weak-field approximation. The class of particular solutions obtained proves to be applicable to the description of the gravitational and magnetic field of a neutron star.
