Dynamics of a charged particle in the presence of both a quasimonochromatic wave and a strong magnetic field

Abstract

A multiple-frequency system of equations is averaged to obtain the relativistic equations of motion for a charged particle in the field of a quasimonochromatic wave propagating along a strong magnetic field.
