The interaction of niobium and tantalum fluorides in aqueous solutions with ammonium fluoride was studied.

The nature of the metal-oxygen bond in crystalline ammonium oxofluorometallates and in solutions of D2O was investigated by the method of IR spectroscopy.

The state of ammonium fluoroniobates and fluorotantalates in aqueous solutions and in 60% H2O2 was studied by the method of NMR-F19.
