Zusammenfassung

3,4-Dichlorphenyl-N′-methyl-N′-methoxyharnstoff wird mit Petroläther aus Bodenproben extrahiert, der Extrakt chromatographisch gereinigt und das Herbicid nach dem Abdunsten des Lösungsmittels verseift. Das entstehende 3,4-Dichloranilin wird diazotiert und mit N-(1-Naphthyl)-äthylendiamin gekuppelt. Der gebildete Diazofarbstoff kann photometrisch bestimmt werden.

Summary

3,4-Dichlorophenyl-N′-methyl-N′-methoxyurea is extracted from soil samples by use of petroleum ether, the extract is purified by chromatography, and after evaporation of the solvent the herbicide is saponified. The 3,4-dichloroaniline formed is diazotised and coupled with N-(1-naphthyl)ethylenediamine, and the diazo dye is determined by photometry.
