Summary
An ion exchanger is recommended which is especially suitable for adsorbing ions of some noble and semi-noble metals. The resin contains dimethyl-aminobenzylidene-rhodanine as the active part of its molecule. By use of this exchanger Ag, CuI, HgII, AuIII, PdII, PtIV, and OsO4 can be enriched and separeted from various other ions, which are eluted by 0.01 N nitric or hydrochloric acid.
