Summary
Report on 121 surgically treated; orbital lesions (10 penetrating orbito cerebral injuries, 13 closed traumatic optic nerve lesions, and 98 space occupying lesions of the orbit). Special references are given on various operative techniques in tumors of the different orbital regions. Attention is stressed on those tumors, which exceed the walls of the orbit into the intercranium as well as the reconstruction of the orbital walls. Three postoperative death in the early series are analyzed.
