Functional stenosis: Pathogenetic principle of ganglia

Summary

Ganglia originate from communicating recessus of joints. Frequently knee, wrist and ganglia at foot are seen.

The theory of valve-mechanism will be expand with the principle of “functional stenosis”. In the main the cause will be seen in the high viscosity of synovia in ganglia.

Zusammenfassung

Ganglien entstehen aus kommunizierenden Rezessus der Gelenke. Am häufigsten werden Knie-, Hand- und Fußganglien beobachtet.

Der Gedanke des Klappen- oder Ventilmechanismus wird durch das Prinzip der „funktionellen Stenose” erweitert. Ihre wesentliche Ursache ist in der erhöhten Viskositdt der Ganglienflüssigkeit begründet.
