CT of extraforaminal disc herniation with associated vacuum phenomenon

Summary

Lumbo-sacral extraforaminal disc herniation with spinal nerve compression is a well recognized entity [1-6]. The diagnosis is difficult, however, and the true incidence therefore unknown. We report a case where CT was diagnostic.
