Montangeologische Probleme lateritischer Manganerz-Lagerstätten

Abstract

An attempt is made at a synthesis on the weathering processes leading to lateritic manganese deposits. The problems encountered in their exploration and mining are reviewed and summarized. Some generalizing conclusions are drawn.

Es wird versucht, einen zusammenfassenden Überblick über die Erscheinungsformen lateritischer Manganerzlagerstätten zu geben. Die dabei resultierenden montangeologischen Gesichtspunkte werden herausgestellt.
