International organizations in higher education: A survey of their library, documentation and information services

Abstract

The survey describes the information collection and dissemination facilities and activities of the twenty major regional and international organizations, both non-governmental and inter-governmental, involved in higher education. A brief description of the purpose and scope of each organization is given, its library resources are described, and its documentation and information services are characterized.
