Abstract

The article describes the technology of determining changes in geosystems of the environment based on the satellite images using the method of statistical criteria with virtual standards on the example of the study of mining areas. The modification and adaptation of the statistical criterion was carried out, virtual benchmarks were formed for four categories of ecological changes of the territory (natural, anthropogenically modified, anthropogenic and technogenic). The developed technology was tested on the mining and industrial areas of Nikopol and Kryvyi Rih of Ukraine.
