About the editors

Wen Shyang Chow is a professor at the School of Materials and Mineral Resources Engineering (Universiti Sains Malaysia). He has published over 100 research articles on biopolymers and nanocomposites in international journals. He has received the Top Research Scientists Malaysia Award for the year 2022. Professor Chow has been ranked among the Top 2% of scientists worldwide by Stanford University (years 2020, 2021, and 2022). 

Mariatti Jaafar is a Professor at the Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM).  She is a professional engineer registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia. Dr Mariatti is an active researcher. She has published more than 400 refereed journal articles, conference proceeding articles and book chapters on polymer, polymer blend, polymer composites, conductive ink, nanocomposites and advanced materials. 

Zulkifli Mohamad Ariff is an academic lecturer at the School of Materials & Mineral Resources Engineering, Universiti Sains Malaysia.  His main areas of research are polymeric foams and polymer melt rheology. He has published more than 60 scientific peer-reviewed indexed journal papers in several fields of his research interests. He is a member of Society of Plastics Engineers (USA), Plastics and Rubber Institute Malaysia and Editorial Board Member for Journal of Cellular Plastics published by Sage Publication Ltd. 

Raa Khimi received his Ph.D for work in the area of smart elastomeric materials for vibration absorption and isolation from the University Of Waikato, New Zealand in 2015. He is an Associate Professor at the Polymer Engineering Department, Universiti Sains Malaysia. His research interests focus on functional and smart rubber concepts, vibration damping materials and high performance rubber. 

Syazana Ahmad Zubir received her Materials Engineering degree from International Islamic University of Malaysia and PhD degree from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. She joined Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2014 as lecturer in School of Materials and Mineral Resources Engineering. She is in Editorial Board of Scientific Research Journal. She is also a member of Malaysia Board of Technologist and Board of Engineers Malaysia. Her current research interests include shape memory polymer, self-healing polymer for coatings and 3D printing of polymer scaffold.
