Abstract

In this paper, sliding mode control problem for a class of affine nonlinear systems is studied. By introducing the improved successive approximation method, the approximate optimal control law with virtual homogeneous linear feedback is designed for the nonlinear system, and then the homogeneous optimal switching surface of the nonlinear system is designed according to the general method of sliding mode design for linear system, the variable structure control law based on the designed linear optimal homogeneous sliding mode is obtained. Simulation results show that the proposed method is effective.
