Abstract

At present, China's carbon emissions are still the first in the world. To achieve the goal of carbon neutrality in 2060, market cooperation and energy transformation will face unprecedented challenges. The power industry is the main industry of China's carbon emissions. Under the constraint of the dual-carbon target, the carbon market policy has been sufficient to affect the behavior of users in the electricity market. The electricity market promotes the efficient use of energy and electricity and the high proportion of renewable energy consumption through the optimization of resource allocation in a wide range. The carbon market promotes the whole society to achieve the maximum emission reduction of carbon dioxide at the lowest economic cost through carbon emission trading. The electricity-carbon markets are consistent in serving the “dual-carbon” target. Based on this, this paper analyzes the current situation of carbon market and electricity market at home and abroad and puts forward suggestions on the research progress of Chinese market by integrating the development of global market. At the same time, considering the effect of electricity-carbon market on renewable energy consumption and carbon emission reduction, the impact of its synergy on power energy structure is analyzed.
