Abstract
The improvement of vehicle performance leads to more complicated and diversified vehicle electronic equipment system. It is important to improve the Electromagnetic Compatibility of the antenna system on the vehicle. In this paper, through the finite element method of time domain, CST Microwave Studio is used to simulate the coupling degree and harmonic interference of whip antenna on the vehicle. Simulating the radiation pattern of the whip antenna in the ideal conditions and vehicular conditions. The coupling degree of the whip antenna is analyzed with the distance change and the new location of the whip antenna is given. The harmonic interference of the whip antenna in different placement location is analyzed and compared. It is proved that the new placement location of the whip antenna is better than the original placement location, which has certain guiding significance to the engineering practice.
