Abstract

For higher efficiency of the commander in analysis and decision making, as well as greater flexibility, comprehensiveness, and objectivity of the quantitative target threat assessment, this paper proposes an interactive target threat assessment and visualization method. Based on Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), we calculate the comprehensive threat assessment results and ranking situation. According to the different types of targets and threat evaluation functions, several visualization methods such as radar chart, flight profile, and sorting histogram are used to show the complete multidimensional threat situation of targets. The application of the interactive, dynamic and multi-view of target threat assessment and visualization keeps commanders informed of the battlefield situation, so as to better analyze the trend, and make commanding decisions.
