Abstract
This chapter sheds light on the advantages of employing postcolonial critique in the study of Georgian foreign policy development. In order to do so, there are three themes presented under this section. It starts with the discussions over defining the concepts of colonial and postcolonial, followed by justifying the applicability of postcolonial theory to the post-Soviet space. Finally, it highlights the strength of postcolonial theory when applied to the field of international relations.
