Abstract

Innovation is an important driving force to promote national economic growth and enterprise development. However, there are still many disputes about the relationship between innovation and enterprise development. Based on the representative enterprises in China’s listed manufacturing companies, this study uses big data analysis technology to study the relationship between innovation and enterprise development, so as to promote the innovation and development of China’s manufacturing enterprises. The results show that: (1) Research and development funds inhibits the development of enterprises by affecting revenue of main business growth rate, (2) Research and development funds inhibits the development of enterprises by affecting total assets growth rate, but the impact is so small that can be ignored. Therefore, the government should take measures to encourage enterprises to innovate.
