Abstract
This chapter explores evidence on loneliness in later life during COVID-19 pandemic, followed by an illustration of the social determinants of loneliness among older adults. Research gaps and mixed research findings are also identified and summarized in this chapter. In addition, the study objectives and hypotheses are presented. In order to test the hypotheses, this study used a quantitative approach. The specific procedures of sampling, measurement, data analysis, and the results of regression models based on the whole sample are presented.
