About the editors

Chiranji Lal Chowdhary is an Associate Professor in the School of Information Technology & Engineering at VIT University, where he has been since 2010. He received a B.E. (CSE) from MBM Engineering College at Jodhpur in 2001, and M. Tech. (CSE) from the M.S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology at Bangalore in 2008. He received his Ph.D. from the VIT University Vellore in 2017. From 2006 to 2010 he worked at M.S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology in Bangalore, eventually as a Lecturer. His research interests span both computer vision and image processing. Much of his work has been on images, mainly through the application of image processing, computer vision, pattern recognition, machine learning, biometric systems, deep learning, soft computing, and computational intelligence. He has given a few invited talks on medical image processing. Professor Chowdhary is editor/co-editor of more than 7 books and is the author of over fifty articles on computer science. He published two patents deriving from his research. 

Logan Chella is Chief Executive Officer of Cyber Innovations LLC and an entrepreneur in the US Technology practice. A technology leader and visionary with over 25 years of experience in technology innovation and implementation, he is focused on helping clients transform the way they deliver their missions/businesses through technology. He is responsible for producing cross-industry tech trends research on emerging and disruptive technology that impacts organizations in the near term. He also oversees the portfolio of emerging offerings within technology incubation function including areas like artificial intelligence, quantum computing, IoT, and more. Logan is a trusted advisor to senior US federal executives on the latest technologies enabling them to take advantage of the benefits of emerging technologies. Logan holds a graduate degree from Chennai University and has several master certifications in the USA including Harvard Business School. Logan isalso a renowned thought leader in the Federal Information Technology industry and has published studies and white papers. Before his career with cyber innovations, Logan worked for Deloitte Consulting providing IT management and consulting services, and for Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT) as Senior Architect where he led various innovative solutions to transform the global banking industry to the 21st-century services. Logan is a strong proponent of green energy; he commissioned India’s first solar power plant as part of the National Solar Mission in 2010.

Kumaresan Perumal is a Senior Assistant Professor in the School of Information Technology and Engineering (SITE) at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) Vellore, India. He received his Bachelor's (ECE) and Ph.D. degree (CSE) from VIT and master’s degree (CSE) from Anna University, Chennai. He has extensive expertise in academia and research. His research areas include IoT, WBAN, cloudcomputing, machine learning, deep learning, supply chain management, and robotic process automation. He has published several research papers in international journals and conferences. He has got his innovation patented on IoT-based Signature Robot. He is a life member of the CSI.
