Abstract

In complex products, dimensions between and within parts are interrelated, and the change of one dimension will inevitably lead to the change of other dimensions. Due to the complexity of the correlation of part dimensions and the transfer process of dimensions within and between parts, the dimension analysis in engineering change brings great challenges. Layer this paper respectively from the assembly and parts go into details of dimensions correlation method, established the characteristics of the correlation matrix, set the mapping rules between the assembly parts and characteristics, and analyze the logic structure of the dimension of the connections between parts, formulated the dimensions pass priority rules, find the pattern of dimensions transfer between and within parts, finally an example is used to verify the feasibility of the method.
