Abstract

Power cable is an important component of the power network. For the cable, the cable joint is the most prone to failure. The temperature monitoring and warning system of the power cable joint are designed on the premise of meeting the design principle and structural composition of the power cable joint. A temperature sensor is installed on the outer sheath of the power cable joint to collect the temperature data of the measured point, and the temperature data is transmitted by sending signals in a wireless way, thus forming a temperature monitoring node for collecting and transmitting temperature data. Wireless data receiving and data processing devices are installed on the ground surface to form monitoring nodes for receiving and processing temperature data. By a coordinator, multi-terminal, form the ZigBee star network. Realize the temperature detection and warning of cable joints in the underground and small space, remind the patrol inspectors to take timely measures to prevent accidents, and ensure the safe operation of the power grid.
