Abstract
In order to make controlled nuclear fusion as stable as the sun, extreme environments are set inside the artificial sun, including ultra-high and ultra-low temperatures, ultra-high vacuum, ultra-strong magnetic fields and ultra high-voltage currents. This chapter brings an inside view of the tokamak.
