Abstract

This chapter explains the structure of Sena Traffic Controller System from Sena Traffic System Sdn. Bhd. located in Malaysia. The structure of Sena Traffic Controller System is consists of i-Traffic software and Moru D driver that communicates with each other in real-time. Moru D is a driver based on Korea traffic system that communicates between the software for traffic algorithm and hardware for driver and pedestrian to cross the junction. In order to be utilized for Malaysia traffic system, there are unnecessary features in Moru D that requires removal. The methods to access and update Moru D firmware to be compatible for Malaysia traffic system are described in detail. Preliminary test to verify the functionality of connections between Moru D debugger with a Traffic Controller is demonstrated. At the end of this chapter, the design of the connections between Moru D firmware with other peripheral hardware is presented.
