Abstract
This chapter provides information to understand the importance of dimensional analysis in the solution of engineering problems, understand why all engineers should use this method to simplify their experimental work and achieve a solution with dimensionless variables that describe in a better way the driving forces of the natural phenomena investigated, to understand its simplicity and in addition to its advantages it also indicates its possible disadvantages and limitations.
