Abstract

In order to improve the large-scale fracturing efficiency of horizontal wells in low permeability reservoirs, the research of pressure balanced sliding sleeve fracturing technology with casing cementing was carried out in Daqing Oilfield. The sliding sleeve is run down into the wellbore with the casings after drilling operation and then fulfills the cementing completion. During fracturing operation, the frac tools and accessories are carried by the coiled tubing to open the sliding sleeve. Frac fluid carrying sand is injected through annulus to fracture the pay zones, which can realize the multi-stage & large-scale volume fracturing in horizontal wells. The coiled tubing and downhole tools are all pulled out from the wellbore after fracturing, and then the whole wellbore is clear with the same diameter. No drilling and milling procedures are required, which improves the operation efficiency and reduces the operation cost. The technology has been applied to 20 wells in Daqing Oilfield. Not only did the sliding sleeve open smoothly, but the repetitive switch test was carried out. Through the research and application of this technology, a volume fracturing technology with annular sand injection is formed. It provides the technical support for the development of low permeability reservoirs in Daqing Oilfield and enriches the horizontal well fracturing technologies, which has favorable prospects for popularization.
