This is a geomorphological landscape with aesthetic and tourism value that is made up of different rock types. Distinctive geomorphological tourism landscapes can form in certain rock formations due to tectonic processes and erosion. These landscapes include (1) geomorphological landscapes composed of mesas, pillars, tower-shaped peaks, and canyons with approximately horizontal sedimentary rock layers subjected to prolonged erosion, such as the Danxia landscape, which is made up of Cretaceous red sandstone layers, the Gu-like (butte) landscape, which is made up of thick limestone and marl, the peak forest, peak bundle, and stone forest landscapes, and the Baishishan tower-shaped peak and deep depression landscapes, which are composed of dolomite with flint; (2) cuesta landscapes made up of eroded dipping sedimentary rock layers; (3) granite landscapes, such as Huangshan, Huashan, Sanqingshan and Laoshan Mountains, which are made up of eroded granite; and (4) volcanic rock landscapes,...
