Abstract
Cognitive radio (CR) is getting huge attention with its spectrum optimising ability and demand of inherent cognitive abilities at wireless nodes in 5G communication (comn). It can utilise the unused part of spectrum, which facilitates sharing of spectrum amongst Primary User (PU) and Secondary User (SU). Users sense the radio environment and take appropriate actions, making multi-agent system (MAS) as natural choice for CR. This paper presents state-of-the-art survey on use of MAS in CR research and proposals.
