Abstract

Lumbosacral plexus can be affected by trauma, infiltration, inflammation or compression. Patients develop sensorimotor deficits in the distal and proximal segments of the lower limbs. Electrophysiology helps to differentiate radiculopathies from plexopathies and MRI neurography can clearly delineate these proximal areas. Therapy is guided by the aetiology of the plexopathy.
