Abstract
As attributed by Thales of Miletus (634–546 BC), water is the source of all life. Similarly in ancient China, Guanzhong (720–645 BC), a legalist chancellor and reformer of the State of Qi during the Spring and Autumn Period of Chinese history, realized more than 2000 years ago this important viewpoint that water is the origin of all thing.
