Abstract
I’ve been writing and practicing the craft of poetry since I was thirteen years-old and have spent most of my life as an African American having the “magnified encounters with life as lived up close and personal” Brady references in the above quote. My experiences often inspire a desire to empathize with individuals, groups of people, and objects.
