Abstract
Now that the trial is over and we know that George Zimmerman was not punished for killing Trayvon Martin, I wonder why? In my home, I am always punished when I do wrong things. What makes George Zimmerman any different? In Louisiana, we often say, “Food is my friend.” I know this essay is supposed to be about the Trayvon Martin case so you are probably wondering why I am discussing food.
