Abstract
In this paper I present a case for the use of narratives in teaching and learning science. I will explore the ideas of (1) why there is a need to change current teaching practices (2) why teachers would want to include this method of instruction into their current teaching practices, and (3) the types of narratives that are useful in teaching and learning science.
