Abstract
Enthusiasm around global health is burgeoning across medical institutions. More students are entering the field of medicine versed in the language of global health and equipped to take on roles with social and humanistic dimensions. They look to institutional administrators to not only provide them with avenues to engage this interest, but to exemplify the goals and vision of the global health movement. In the face of this momentous expectation, program leadership has an opportunity to guide the next generation of citizens of the world: individuals who will become leaders in global health, creators of scientific knowledge, and instruments of change in the dispelling of disparities.
