Abstract

Production of sufficient amounts of rabbit complement in our laboratory is relatively laborious. And troubles may happen, if epidemic or other diseases destroy the rabbit stock. Therefore we investigated, whether sheep and pig sera are suitable as complement in the haemolytic test for the determination of cattle blood groups.
