Abstract

Mammalian cell culture is becoming increasingly important for the production of human recombinant protein especially in the pharmaceutical field. The growing demand for these products has prompted the development of long term mammalian cell culture to large scale and long term operation. A number of stimulating agents are known for their potency in enhancing the protein productivity.
