Abstract

In January 1976 the Sandoz Institute organized a working group on pandemic influenza, which met in Rougemont, Switzerland.a That group was asked to propose solutions to some key problems in the control of influenza pandemics and epidemics, and to formulate conclusions that could be implemented in follow-up activities.
